Yes. When creating a ZIP you can add a password. For compatible formats, you can also choose strong encryption.

Limits depend on your device and browser memory. As a rule of thumb, archives up to about 2 GB open reliably on most computers; newer machines often handle up to about 4 GB. On phones, tablets, and some Chromebooks, smaller archives (about 1 GB or less) are recommended.
